Ya Salam.. But actually, the truth is, i'm not suprised.. why should i be? it is expected of him right, that's why he's the president. ma 'aleyna..

death tolls are climbing to 400, but still complete silence from the so called "world power".. the time has really come for us to open our eyes..

Indonesia, wow, the spirit.. What about Malaysia? where's Pak Lah's condemnation on this.. or like what Zainudin Mydin said when he came here, this is not our problem.. Birds of a feather flock together.

Some quotes for the day..

"The world looks at unarmed Palestinian people as though they are a nation with an army, as though we are equal to the Israelis ... but this is not true"

Majed, Gaza City

After this, maybe Israel's pre-condition to a truce will be the stopping of stones thrown at them.
(commenting on an article posted by Imran Idris on facebook)

This one suprised me (but of course, you can cheat most of people most of the time but not all the people, all the time..) :

"This cannot be the answer .... The more ammunition we throw at this, the more hatred there will be, and the less the chance for peace"

A brief Response to Zionist disinformation

By Khalid Amayreh

Zionist Hasbara operatives have been claiming that the current Israeli genocidal onslaught in Gaza is a “war against Hamas” and that it was only necessitated by the firing of Palestinian rockets on Israel.

This is a big lie. Read the following:
“Hamas had repeatedly said it was willing and ready to stop "all" firing of projectiles from Gaza if only Israel would lift the deadly blockade. And Israel repeatedly said "No."

Israel has been saying ad nauseam that it ended its occupation of Gaza. Well, why does Israel then retain its control of Gaza skies, Gaza shores, Gaza sea, Gaza border crossings (even with Egypt). Why does Israel retain its control of Gaza life? Why?

Hence, the issue of firing "rockets" on Israel (they are homemade projectiles that make more noise than damage), should be viewed largely as a red herring.

Effectively, Israel has been giving Palestinians in Gaza either of two choices, to die of starvation as a result of the blockade or be exterminated by the Israeli war machine.

Indeed, these so-called "rockets" are nothing more than a desperate outcry for justice, for lifting the deadly blockade. Gaza has simply been reduced to a modern-day Auschwitz. The only difference is that Jews are now playing the role of the SS.

Hamas did meticulously observe a six-month ceasefire, despite the persistence of the Nazi-like blockade which very much resembled the Ghetto Warsaw siege in 1942-43. However, on 13 November, Israel carried out a foray into Gaza, killing 6 people.

More to the point, Israel killed 49 Palestinians during the ceasefire. Not a single Israeli was killed.

Besides, hundreds of Palestinians have perished because Israel would not allow them to access medical care or medicine. I saw many Palestinians die an agonizing death because the "light upon the nations" wouldn't allow them to reach hospital a few blocks away. In short, we are talking about a Judeo-Nazi state. I am saying this because when Jews think, behave and act like Nazis, they become Nazis. We must call the spade a spade, especially when it happens to be in the hands of our gravediggers.

Therefore, it is a big lie to call this war a war against Hamas. This is a Nazi-like war of extermination against the people of Palestine.

If the war were against Hamas, as the war criminals of Tel Aviv keep claiming, Israel wouldn't have targeted market places, drug stores, college buildings, private homes, mosques, cultural institutions, roads, businesses, etc.

Only a state with a Hitlerian mindset would target an entire society and then claim that it is fighting Hamas! It is simply a big lie.

So, Israel is simply carrying out a real genocide...and an indiscriminate one for that matter.

Today, even a Jewish rabbi of imminence used the term "genocide" to describe what Israel is doing in Gaza.”

a night to remember..

bismillahirrahmanirrahim..

yesterday was truly a night to remember.

BarakAllahu lakuma wa barakaAlaikuma wa jamaa bainakuma fil Jannah (Firdaus el-A'la!)

A very very very close friend of mine, Ukht Nik Nabihah Nik Rakami finally wrote the book, to conclude her marriage with Akh Mohd Siroj Al Afkar (betul ke ni?).. Alhamdulillah praise be to Allah, as he is the One who arranged all things, and all His arrangements are perfect.

It wouldn't be an overstatement if i said that the Majlis akad Nikah was Akad Nikah of the year. The surau was overwhelming with people all wanting to be part of the special ceremony, no one wanted to miss this oppurtunity.

So how and why did Nik attract that man people (mind you, this is not yet the wedding reception)..?

I guess the answer is clear to those living with her. For I myself, she is one friend everyone should have. Her sincerity, always wanting only the best for her friends is of no doubt. Words can not describe the ukhuwwah we had, for she was always willing to give and never to take.

Nik, may Allah bless you and your whole family, and may this marriage be a stepping stone to more wonders, then you have already done. Allahumma tsabbitna jamian, wansur ikhwanna fi kulli makan..

women in islam

bismillahirrahmanirrahim.

this email was sent by my mom.. enjoy!

He found there a whole tribe of men watering. And he found apart
from them two women restraining their flock. He said, “What ails
you?” The two said, “We cannot give our flock to drink unless the
shepherds return from the water, and our father is a very old man.”
So he watered their flock for them. Then he returned aside into the
shade and said, “My Lord! I am needy of whatever good Thou send
down for me.” (Surah 28: Verse 22-24)

The Holy Quran narrates numerous events including stories of the nations
of past. It gives the accounts of Allah's Prophets and Messengers and
also mentions both groups of men, those who disbelieved and denied the
Prophets and those who believed and obeyed Allah's Message. The Quran
relates all these events in context to the purpose of its revelation,
that is, to invite mankind towards Allah, to define the path of worship
and obedience, and to warn about the way leading to Divine Wrath.

Historic events are mentioned only as examples for mankind to draw
conclusions and to learn desired lessons. For that reason, it narrates
the conditions of various nations at the time when Prophets were sent to
them. It recounts the hardships endured by Prophets during their efforts
to steer their nations from darkness to the Light, and also highlights
the difference between the fate of the rejecters of Faith and of the
believers. The Quran recounts all this to enable the reader to reflect
and decide the best course for himself. Although the Quranic narration of
history is the most perfect and the absolute truth, yet the mere
narration of history has never been the subject of Quran. Thus it does
not tell the whole story at one place, but refers to its different events
at appropriate places, so as to highlight the desired lessons.

The holy verses mention the tyranny of Pharaoh, the events of Prophet
Musa’s flight to Madyan and his meeting with Prophet Shoaib. In addition
to the grand sacrifices and steadfastness of Prophet Musa and the piety
and greatness of Prophet Sho’aib-as, these verses mention an
extraordinary event which is full of tremendous wisdom and lessons for
human civilisation. As Prophet Musa-as approached Madyan, he came upon a
well on the outskirts of the city where people brought their cattle to
drink. A large crowd of herdsmen with their cattle had gathered at the
well. Amongst these herdsmen, he found two young girls holding their
flock to one side. He was genuinely surprised to find these young girls
there and inquired about their odd presence in an all-male business.

conditions and norms

They replied that they had also brought their flock for water and were
waiting for the others to leave the site before they could take their
turn. They added that their father was old and could not do this job
himself. In this small sentence, Allah has laid down the conditions and
norms for women to participate in various spheres of human activity
outside the four walls of their homes.

A woman is permitted to step out of her house if there is none else to
work outside. Those women who have a man such as father, brother, husband
or son to work for them, are not required to go out of their homes. But,
if the male member(s) of the family are sick or old or can't work for
some reason, then women are permitted to go out and work - under
compulsion.

They must not starve to death within their homes, nor should they beg or
steal, but should adopt a respectable means to earn their living.
However, such women should not mix freely with the working men and must
always keep their proper distance. This point has been highlighted in the
referred verses. The two young girls had come out of their home under
compulsion, but they waited aside for the male shepherds to leave the
site before they took their turn.

Here, two conditions have been laid down when women may come out of their
homes to work;
first, when there is no male member of the family to undertake this
obligation,
second, when they don't have any source of livelihood, and are
required to earn their bread by themselves.

Current Situation

Our society is infested with strange customs which have actually been
borrowed from the Hindus and injected into this Muslim culture. The
notion that women are inferior or worthless is a myth of Hindu cult,
which assigns no significance to them - whatsoever. When the husband
dies, the wife must be cremated with him; otherwise, she would have to
spend her remaining life as an untouchable and detested creature. Even
her near ones won't speak to her and she would be sentenced to solitary
confinement, living a dog's life, performing menial jobs.

We have imported this concept from Hinduism. We too, highlight her
weaknesses emphatically and present her as a worthless and loathsome
member of the human race - this attitude is certainly wrong.

Message of Islam

Islam is the message of love for all of humanity; a woman is as good a
member of the human family as is a man. Islam has assigned different
responsibilities and duties to both, keeping in view their physical,
mental and psychological potentials and capacities. Both shall appear
before the same Lord, at the same place and account for their deeds. A
disbelieving man shall be sentenced to the same hell as a disbelieving
woman, and a blessed woman would undoubtedly enjoy the same Divine Bliss
in Paradise as a man would.

As human beings, both follow the same pattern in life. They are born
alike, exist alike, taste the same death, would be raised in the same
manner and would likewise face the consequences of their deeds. They have
been created with different physical, mental and psychological
capabilities. Their requirements and responsibilities, therefore, are
also different. However, both of them are of equal importance as members
of the human race.

A Misconception

On the plea that there has not been a female Prophet, some consider women
as inferior. However, the advocates of this argument tend to forget that,
although Allah created a Prophet without father, there is no evidence of
a motherless Prophet in the entire human race. Except for the first human
being and a Prophet, whom Allah created without a father or a mother,
there is no other instance of a Prophet being born without a mother.

Without exception, every Prophet was born and brought up in the warm,
loving lap of his mother. If she was such a detestable creature, then why
was every Prophet and Messenger born and brought up in her lap? Yes, she
is not a Prophet but isn't she the mother of a Prophet? Isn't she his
loving daughter? Doesn't she share his life as his wife?

In Paradise, the residence of the holy Prophet will be located at the
most blessed and sublime station. There would be no other house or person
in the vicinity, except his holy wives who will also be living with him
in his house. So how is a woman bad or inferior? In fact, we have
borrowed this false notion from the Hindus of the Indian subcontinent.

Duties and Responsibilites

The natural division of duties and responsibilities of men and women can
be illustrated by the following example.

Suppose a person wants to grow a beautiful orchard, for which he
requires two workers. The first should be physically strong to
undertake hard work such as tilling the earth, planting trees,
digging water channels, etc. He should be strong enough to protect
the garden and work outside at his own.

The second worker, required to look after the plants, may not be as
strong, but should be more caring and loving than the first one.
This worker, by natural instinct, must understand and care for the
requirements and needs of each budding plant and blossoming flower.
This worker's love should so distribute the food and nourishment
that plants should neither die of shortage nor of excess.

The relatively frail body of the second worker must possess a
strong but sensitive and tender heart, because the job is not to
protect the garden but nurture the plants fondly and tenderly.

In my opinion, this task is more delicate and subtle. Allah has entrusted
this delicate and sensitive responsibility of raising and educating the
human race to a woman, whilst the job of a man is to earn and protect it;
this is the natural division of their responsibilities. Both are equally
responsible, and I think the job of a woman is more important.

Education for Woman

But a more important question which requires our attention is, ‘Does a
woman, who has been entrusted with such a delicate and sensitive task,
require any education or training herself?’

I think she requires it more than the outside worker, but we practically
give no attention to this important issue. The parents try to give her
the best of secular education, but do not impart upon her any religious
knowledge. Her brothers feel obliged to protect her and comfort her, but
fail to realise their obligation to teach her about religion.

Similarly, the husband would leave no stone unturned to keep her happy
and comfortable; he would give her abounding love and every good thing in
the world - except religion. Finally, when she becomes a mother, her
children would respect and serve her affectionately, but they too would
not speak of religion with her. This attitude actually stems from a
notion, deeply embedded in our subconscious, that she is an inferior
being … by creation.

When the mother of holy Mary vowed to devote her child to the service of
God, she was, in fact, expecting to deliver a son. Such a practice was
allowed in their religion. However, when against her expectation, she
gave birth to a daughter; she was extremely worried about the fulfilment
of her oath. The Quran refers to her anxiety by saying that she did not
know that her daughter was far superior to many sons and had a high
status with Allah. Her life was an explicit illustration of Divine
greatness and power, and a source of guidance for mankind. According to
the Quran, anyone (be it man or woman) who fulfils their assigned duty is
better than the one who doesn't - in the sight of Allah.

Holy Prophet (PBUH) and his wives

About three quarters of human life relates to personal and private
affairs and is usually spent within the four walls of one's home. If the
chapter relating to specific feminine concerns is also added, it assumes
an even greater portion of the religion. As such, the greater part of
religion was narrated by the blessed wives of the holy Prophet. He
married eleven times and when he passed away, nine of his wives were
still alive.

Those who feel embarrassed at the criticism about his marriages have
really not studied his life. Had he married for the sake of marriage, he
would have married during his prime, his youth. But he passed his entire
youth with Hadhrat Khadijah who was much elder to him. After her death,
when he remarried, he was over fifty years of age. Hadhrat Aishah was the
only virgin, his remaining wives were either widows, divorced or freed
captives. Some had brought their children from previous husbands and they
were also looked after by him. His holy wives were the only source to
convey a major portion of the religion to us. In their absence, the
private life of the holy Prophet would have remained obscure and
concealed forever.

Equality

Islam has neither allowed the use of a woman as a model for advertisement
(as in the West) nor has it allowed for her to be treated as a worthless
captive slave (as in Hinduism or the Far East). On the other hand, Islam
considers a woman to be a human being worthy of every honour and respect.
Both men and women are equally good creatures of Allah, duly responsible
and accountable for their actions, although both have different
capabilities and duties.

The Islamic concept of human equality is that a man should do his duty
and a woman should shoulder her responsibility. Both should do their duty
and enjoy their rights and privileges. If she is compelled to exceed the
charter of her duties, this is not equality but cruelty and injustice -
such is the Islamic teaching. However, in the sight of Islam, all
feminine excellence, honour and greatness depend upon only one virtue -
purity.

Women in Today's world

During the present time, there is considerable hue and cry about women’s
rights and equality; all the while the press and media are playing a
vital role in setting this issue ablaze. Accordingly, the advocates of
the feminine cause engage in violent processions. But the standard of
this equality has already been defined by the Holy Quran and illustrated
by the holy Prophet (PBUH) during his life. We should look towards Allah
and His holy Prophet (PBUH) and not towards the West or the East for the
best solution to this issue.

There is a visible paradox in our approach towards women.
On the one hand, we have allowed them to participate in every
worldly activity. They may visit clubs for entertainment, play all
sorts of games, watch movies in theatres and go to the market for
shopping where they may talk and bargain with men during all of
these activities. We tolerate and accept this normal routine of
life.

On the other hand, if they go out to learn about religion, we are
infuriated beyond control.

We have yet to see any religious verdict prohibiting women from roaming
the markets without Hijab, bareheaded, even though each one of these acts
is prohibited in the Shari‘ah. Nobody is bothered where they go or what
they do. But if you guide one of them from a movie theatre to a mosque,
there is an immediate reaction against it, everybody starts objecting to
their religious activity.

In our country (Pakistan), a woman can do anything and everything she
likes; she can contest elections and rule the country. Many renowned
religious scholars have gathered around our present female Prime
Minister, and none has decreed that she cannot participate in politics.
But, if the same lady starts remembering her God, there would be an
instant uproar from the religious quarters that she is doing wrong.

Conclusion

The Book and the Sunnah have not imprisoned a woman in her home. During
the time of the holy Prophet-saw, women participated even in battles,
such as in the battles of Badar and Uhad. They supplied water to the
wounded, dressed their wounds and took care of them; they even fought
battles with the sword. But during the whole activity, they kept
themselves separate and did not mix with the men.

The point to ponder is, ‘Did they learn to ride and use the sword from
some instructor or were they born with these qualities?’ During that
blessed era, they received their education and training separately and
performed their duties separately from the men - that is the rule even
today. They should remain within their Pardah and achieve every bit of
excellence that men can attain to. They have a greater need to learn the
basic essentials of the Religion.

“And the men who remember Allah much and the women who remember
Allah much, Allah has promised them forgiveness and immense
reward.”

Allah has equated them with men in the frequent performance of Zikr; but,
how would they do it, if they don't learn it? This is the standard laid
down by the Divine Book. She is neither a caged bird nor a showbiz model,
there is a middle way for her. She should know and realise her
responsibilities and acquire the ability to fulfil her requirements
honourably. She should neither become a dependent beggar nor a
free-lancer to rub shoulders with men.

May Allah grant us the capacity to understand properly and act
accordingly! Ameen!

taxi

bismillahirrahmanirrahim.

i'd like to share a really really really good read. "taxi" by khaled al khamissi. insyaAllah it's available on amazon.com. and i guess those in malaysia could just try to check out kinokuniya or mph or make a specialized order. while us here in egypt, it's simply everywhere. the issues brought up are a bit sensitive, but the writer's quite careful, as not to let himself get sued or thrown into prison for absolutely no reason. still, i guess the message got through.

meanwhile, cows, lambs, goats and camels are every where this raya eve. it is truly very noticeable that the economic turmoil has really hit the people. last year almost all the flocks brought from the village were sold out on Arafa Day, those who tried to get last minute lambs turned out not getting any lamb at all. but this year, the lambs are still flocking the streets, up to this day, waiting in vain for people to buy them for slaughter. budget must be really tight this year. Allah yuwasse'.

later.

p/s:-insyaAllah i'll update the part i missed in Peristiwa Ifk.
p/s/s:-counting the days... two weeks before my beloved sister leaves egypt, a month before i end the endless six years of college life, one and a half months before my results will be displayed.. pray for me, sisters!

anak bawwab

Can't help but to share this pic. Here's an anak bawwab, wearing his stained white t-shirt, and hand-me-down pants. Regardless, he currently is so engrossed in his new world of pen and papers. He took the best, most relaxing spot he could find, and started writing, whatever he could. He's just one of the million others who are the victims of the American Puppet. Enough said.

Peristiwa Ifk.

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim

There have been happenings right here in Egypt ever since I got back from Malaysia, personal and non-personal. A mixture of the good, bad and the ugly. Alhamdulillahirabbil Alameen, many thanks to Allah the Almighty, for without the strength given by him, nobody could withstand the tribulations in this world.

I am currently going through the slanderous event which happened in Rasul's time. An event which could never be forgotten, not by history, not by anybody. An event Allah made happen, though bitter, taught those who are willing to learn a great lesson.

The "ifk" or slander thrown upon Rasulullah's wife, Abu Bakr's daughter was unforgivable. A chaste woman was said to be unchaste, and a sincere sahaba, carrying out his duty was said to have an affair.

The slander was started by a munafiq (trans:hypocrite), Abdullah bin Ubai bin Salul. From the very first day Islam established itself in Madina, he anticipated its fall. He worked day and night plotting against Islam, always trying to find "the moment", and true enough, the moment came, just after the the War of Bani Mustolaq. As he saw Safwan coming into Madina, guiding the camel which carried Aisha, he began to raise questions in people's heads. The questions were pondered upon, by most people. Some willingly claimed the scene as an affair, most of them were the hypocrites, and sadly to say there were also a few sahabas who weren't spared from falling into this great trap.

This was a bitter lesson which had had to be learned. For a long period of time nothing was revealed from the Seven Heavens to clear the case. Was Aisha innocent? Was she guilty? Nobody knows. Not even ar-Rasul himself. But as far as most of the people in Madina were concerned, she was simply guilty until proven innocent, a school of thought far far far away from the islamic teaching.

Among those who remained steadfast was Zainab al-Jahsy. Beautiful, aristocratic Zainab was known to be one of Rasulullah's wives envied most by Aisha. But this small everyday quarrel was not a stop to steadfastness. When asked about Aisha during the event, she firmly replied, "I protect my eyes and my ears, the only thing I know of her is goodness."

After a whole month of uncertainty, Allah reveled in Sura An-Nur Aisha's innocence. But that was not the only thing reveled. Allah directed solemn words to all who had their share in the slander, either by just listening to it, or even worse, by spreading the word.

This IS truly a serious matter. The slander which broke out was like a deep crack in a well-built tower, it had threatened the muslim community. People were divided, one bad-mouthing the other. The thick wall of trust had gotten thinner by the day. They needed a hard slap on their backs to awaken them up.

This particular event, we do encounter, in our everyday lives. And it does adversely effect the outcome of dakwah, tarbiyyah and ukhuwwah. The best way to deal with it is actually the simplest. Turn a deaf ear upon any slander. Shut the wide open eyes.

Sura An-Nur :

11. Verily! Those who brought forth the slander are a group among you. Consider it not a bad thing for you. Nay, it is good for you. Unto every man among them will be paid that which he had earned of the sin...

12. Why then, did not the believers, men and women, when you heard it think good of their own people and say, "This is an obvious lie!"

Islam as the last religion to be revealed, and as the only religion Allah will accept on Judgment Day, has already guided us through each and every single situation we may encounter in life which could lead us astray from the path of Allah.

Sura Al-Hujurat clearly highlighted the answer to this problem.. "Fatabayyanu.." and in other readings "Fatatsabbatu..", 2 things of utmost important when facing a slander, 1. to verify, 2. to stay put, just like Zainab Al-Jahsy.

As a lay down my fingers beside the laptop, I can't help but pray that Allah enlightens us all, show us all to the right path, ensure that we follow no one other than ar-Rasul in every single aspect of life, in order to achieve our ultimate goal. There is simply no other way.

The days which have passed made me reflect, mostly upon my own carelessness and recklessness. May Allah forgive us all.

Making mistakes

It's great being a person who doesn't make mistakes. Big ones, I mean. Being a person who is careful all the time, so careful that they make only minor mistakes.

And must be great too if you're good at managing things properly. And if you can't you have to try. But when your trial is also a failure, very discouraging.

Alhamdulillah ala kulli halin wastaghfirullah ala kulli zanbin.

Ar-Rasul's Companions

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim..

Something just got to me.

The Sahabas, they were the sweetest, kindest, most sensitive people in the world, weren't they?

They see what Rasulullah did and immediately follow, they were not short of paying back Rasulullah's kindest and sacrifices.

Never did they do less than what's ask of them, and never did they ask for more than what is given.

S-e-n-s-i-t-i-v-i-t-y. Really hard to acquire. For those who have it "built-in", praise Allah and preserve it in you. This is exactly what the sahabas had. They were sensitive to each and everything Rasulullah did to them, and couldn't bear to repay it with less.

But I guess most of us have lost it today. Rasulullah told us to be sensitive to our neighbours, we are sinful if we ate lunch and our neighbours are not having any. Don't talk about neighbours, we couldn't even care less if our housemates ate or not. And especially during exam season. Luck has it that today's my jadual masak! If not, tak yah harap la nak masak. I am not hungry so everyone else boleh makan sendiri. Heh. The attitude.

That's one aspect in life, there are many others. Some people might say, it's not that they're not sensitive, but the fact is people around them are not doing anything either to help. So there's nothing to repay.

Aaaahh.. self-actualization (yes nik..!) The sahabas have reached the highest point in Maslow's pyramid by following a 100% of what was revealed upon Rasulullah. The word "I" didn't even exist in their dictionaries. It was either "you", "them", "we" but never "I".

Remember the story during one of the wars where there was this one soldier who was badly wounded and thirsty and so he asked for water. As he was about to sip it, he heard the cry of his brother next to him who was also thirsty. He immediately gave the water to the soldier next to him, who heard another soldier next to him crying out of thirst too.. and so he did the same thing and so did the next, and the next, and the next.. until the bottle of water came back to the first soldier who had already martyr. And it seemed that the rest of the thirsty badly wounded soldiers had also martyred afterwards. This amazing story told me that a person, reaching self actualization, would sacrifice everything for the sake of others even if he is on his death bed.

Now this is what we call the human value. Not the crap implanted in our minds of how we should always insist on getting our rights accomplished, even if it causes a catastrophe unto others.

(I seriously dont know how to end this.. I'll let it be.. Hope that I truly become like the sahabas.)

2 heads on the same coin

"And I think that it is smart for us to - to work through a system in which everybody has access to the extraordinary religious sites in Old Jerusalem, but that Israel has a legitimate claim on that city."
~the so-called Barack Obama

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim.

Assalamualaikum warahmatullah.

I guess nothing much has, and will change.

Obama, Umbama, Clinton Schminton, McCain, whoever the US president may be, the facts remain the same.

1. The Americans will continue on paying high taxes for the sake of protecting the illegitimate state of Israel

2. The Camp David Accords will provide Egypt with its annual USD1.3bil military subsidies (which of course is of no use as Egypt will NEVER go for war, due to the Camp David Accords. irony)

3. Iraq is still going to be under occupation, and more American troops would be sent

4. And you and me, we'll remain just quite the same, watching eyes wide shut as oil prices hike, get up in the morning go to work, back again. nothing much to do till in the end we go six feet under

But actually there's still hope, seriously. But definitely not in the US President. The hope's in us, every single one of us, if we want things to change, they will.

All we have to do is to return to what our Creator has told us to do, return to His guidance and you'll find the way. Yup, this is the only practical way. No other. You can't say it won't work when you have not tried it yet.

The world has entered timelessly into disaster, disaster and more disaster due to uncouthly leadership, abiding the laws written by human beings, creatures who make tonnes of mistakes every single hour in their lives.

I suggest, we return to the real solution.

CDC criteria for diagnosis of PID

bismillahirrahmanirrahim..

this year has been a really trying year for me. but alhamdulillah all is well, can't wait to end the year but at the same time not ready to go through it. really love ObGyn but so far i have not been able to prove my love for it, not just yet. i really need to get back on track. your prayers are all i ask for mates!

my end of round exam was taken in two days. alhamdulillah yesterday's exam was quite a breeze. Allah yusahhil kulla shaik. my dad was here, and the time we spent together was indescribable. but still my studies were lagging a little (erm, an understatement..). The day after dad left, i tried to catch up.. let's just say it wasn't as easy as ABC. but alhamdulillah again, the exam turned out ok.

And today's.. i really felt that i entered the room with subzero in my head (and this is no overstatement). my belove arab friend (as usual) helped me out by orally revising some important questions. and alhamdulillah those were the exact questions which entered the exam.

i'm not that good a person, but i guess there hasn't been one moment in my life that i felt like Allah was away from me. In each and every bad time, Allah's there to make it easier for me to go through. And though most of the time i don't think i deserve the "special" treatment, Allah still gives it to me. Alhamdulillah alhamdulillah alhamdulillah. i guess no other words could describe how i feel.

ok so this is one of the questions asked this morning, and the answers too.

Imam Malik.. singer wannabe?

bismillahirrahmanirrahim.

yup, that was exactly what he told his mom. Imam Malik was a handsome boy, blond hair, blue eyes, fair skin. Maybe the typical boy-band look.

so what did the fair lady mom do? did she scold him and say, "haram alaik ya walad!!"? or did she say, "Matkharragish taaani!!!"? or did she say, "eih da, eih da, eih da??"? Nope, non of those words were uttered (not literally, i know they didn't know ammiya back then!). Being a great woman, she indeed had the tarbiyya skills sought after by many today. Action proved to be louder than words.

Aaliyah bint el-Syuraik took out a complete set of clothes, with the headgear and everything and put them on Imam Malik. then she put him in front of the mirror, with a notebook in his hand, made him look at himself so nobly, and said, "If you were to be an ugly singer, no one, not a single person would care to be around you. But look, look at you in this outfit, spreading the sunnah of Rasulullah..."

this was certainly more than enough for a bright boy like Imam Malik. from then on he started to learn more about his religion and become one of the greatest scholars of all times.

to think that we might have lost a great scholar, if not because of the intelligent step taken by this woman.

Imam Malik's father, Anas bin Malik, could have married just about anyone, but he chose Aaliyah. He died when Imam Malik was still a small kid, and yet he is getting every single thawwab Imam Malik gets. and that is for choosing what Allah wants, not just what he simply wanted.

Allah knows best!

p.s:-Mostafa Hosny's simply the best!! alhamdulillah, really, i thank Allah for giving me the chance to be there tonight. May the chance come again..

Practice what you preach..

Bismislahhirrahmanirrahim.

Rasulullah is a preacher, daieyah ilallah. Why is he so successful? How come it led to the creation of an ideal state after only 23 years? Many many many secrets of success, and they are no secret. But i guess one thing which hits me most is that Rasulullah indulges in what he preaches first
before anyone else, he is more afraid of Jahannam than anyone else, and he is more in search for Jannah than anyone else.. Though Allah has already stated that whatever he did in the past or in the future is already being forgiven.

Reflect. I hope we are not just saying things which we don't mean. Or not just conveying for the sake of conveying. Walk don't talk. Wallahu alam.

p.s:- need to be more keen in updating this blog.. have tons to share..
Allah maako for the exams!!

rahmat Allah

bismillahirrahmanirrahim.

Addunia kulluhu taab. Yes, life in this world is hectic. Too hectic. You have to strive for every single thing you want in this world, either good or bad. Allah says is the Holy Quran "innaka kadihun ila rabbika kadhan famulaqih.." Insyiqaq : 6.

For the sake of this world, most of mankind went through degrees of hardship. The Pharoahs strived to keep themselves in power. Rome was not built in one day. Donald Trump, as rich as he is, don't tell me he didn't go through sleepless nights to ensure his empire keeps growing.

And on the other hand, all Allah's messengers had to strive even harder to convince people that the world is not what they really want. It's jannah, Allah's paradise that we really are after. Rasulullah SAW, being the greatest man on earth was being mocked by his own people, and still is mocked at up till today by people who don't understand what life is really about. People who mocked him? They had to go through all that trouble, spent their time and energy and money, just for the sake of something which leads them to a doomed end.

Rasulullah went through sleepless nights, had to travel by foot under the hot scorching sun, went for wars, got beaten, to convince people to take up the right path. If Allah wanted, things could be easier, right? But no, this is the way of the world, "wa lan tajida li sunnatillah hi tabdila.." Nothing comes free of charge, you have to EARN it. That's the keyword, EARN.

Spreading Allah's word is not easy, but still between you and me, we have to do it, by hook or by crook (or by hanger). And if you think it's hard, many people are going through even harder times for this dunia, for this false worldly life, just to fulfill their temptations.. "fainnahum yaklamuna kama taklamun, wa tarjuna minnAllah ma la yarjun.." But unlike them, we are expecting something from Allah, something great and dear, worth all the hardship in the world! We are expecting Mardatillah and His Jannah.

And this is exactly why Allah created the world filled with hardship after hardship after hardship. To make us long for Jannah more and more, to make us dream of Jannah and work towards it. To make us visualize Jannah in our heads and look forward to it.

The world with it's winding roads still managed to grasp weak, feeble hearts, let alone if it's not. If the world is more relaxing for me and you, Jannah wouldn't sound dear to us, we wouldn't be striving for it. We would want to stay in this world forever.

Alhamdulillah tsumma Alhamdulillah tsumma Alhamdulillah ya Rabb for all the blessings. Allahumma tsabittna ala tareeq. ameen~

Penghapusan DEB?

Ok people, listen up.. for those of you who are worried about what's going to happen to Penang as DAP chose to abolish DEB (Dasar Ekonomi Baru), I guess we'd better read more obout DEB and realize how it had NOT within the last 50 years of Malaysia's Independence helped the Malays in and outside of Penang.

This is an extract taken from harakahdaily.net

Q : So what is DEB actually?

So are you still worried?

a night of true madness

Yes people – oops! before I forget, Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakaatuh. May Allah’s blessings be upon all of you.

Yes people, tonight I’m mad. No, I’m not just mad, I’m super mad, I’m so angry I could explode. And my angriness has its rationalizations.

First of all I’m sooooo angry with what is happening in Gaza. I’m angry with myself for being so weak and not able to help them, not through my deeds, nor through my efforts. I didn’t try hard enough to save money to donate them to the people in Gaza, nor did I put my whole strength in boycotting the well-known ZIONIST supporters (alhamdulillah I never did go to starbucks nor wear Gap jeans nor drink coke and pepsi anymore. But I still savour that piece of Cadbury when given, I still go to shopping malls gawking at the stupid brands produced by capitalists aiming for profit profit profit regardless the condition of the people today, I still enjoy an 8.5le icecream when I want to… so this makes me.. as worthiful as chopped liver)

Next.. I’m mad at how the people in this world thinks. The world is divided into three groups of people according to the Quran. First, you have the true muslims, they who believe in Allah sincerely. Next, the non-believers, those who don’t believe in Allah, and the third group would be, those who say they believe in Allah but they are actually frauds. And seriously, I have messages to convey to each one of you.

  1. True muslims. (which includes me, insyaAllah, and I hope Allah puts me in this group and no other till the very last breath I breathe.). Here goes, “Ok, so you think you’re true muslims, right? Why are you just sitting back relaxing not helping your brothers and sisters in distress? Yes you pray, yes you fast and read the Quran. But no, that’s not enough. You have to do more, you have to ensure power is in the right hands, speak up. Don’t just stand there quietly without doing anything and not feeling guilty. By not doing anything you’re hurting us, your brothers and sisters who are in serious need of your help. You have the power to change things. VOTE!!! And vote for the right government. Vote for Islam. Tell people about the corruption people in power now are totally drowned in. SUPPORT!!! And support the right wing. Hosny Mubarak, Egyptians' "beloved" Mr Pres!!! A group of people are already up against him and his corrupted regime. Join them, fight against the injustice and crimes he committed, is committing and will continue on to commit in the future. 90% increase in the prices of agricultural products?? Insanity. Yup, don’t get me wrong when I say himar kat tepi jalan yang dok kena pukul dek orang bekiak tu pon jauh jauh jauh martabat dia lebih tinggi daripada Encik Hosny kite. Having him up there is just like having a donkey. I mean a donkey doesn’t go for war, doesn’t stand up for anyones rights, doesn’t try to make things better for the people. Whatever it is that a donkey has, he has it, naturally. And the same goes to you too Mr-Corrupted-Leaders-Of-The-Islamic-Nations. Please, you are going to be asked later and it’s not just your solat and fasting. Move people, MOVE!!!!!!!!!!!!

  2. Non-Believers. I mainly want to ask you people a question. Why is it that you remain on the non-believing path? Why? Why? Why? Everyone has the freedom to choose, And Allah has created you, given you the mind for you think, and to choose, why don’t you choose the right path? What more evidence do you need to prove to yourself that Islam is the right path? Islam’s not the best path, It’s the ONLY path. Why do you think that every single corrupted power is against Islam? Why do you think that those who are against Islamic law are mainly those who want to fulfill only their utmost tempatations? Why do you think that the super powers of the world today (Those who support capitalism, who when given the power rob zillions out of the world’s population, yup, BUSH in particular, those who provide people with weapons just so that they can afford the most expensive suite when going on a holiday?????) are so against Islam. The answer is clear. Because Islam is the right path. If they give in to islam, there’d be no way they could be rich. There’d be no way they could have power. Please my non-believing friends, trust me on this one, I love you guys, please, open your hearts to Islam.

  3. Frauds. These people, they don’t even get the lion’s share in anything they do. All the get is a small measly profit, which they are very contented with in this falsely world. But in the hereafter, sorry to say, they’d be thrown in the bottomless pit of hellfire where it’s darker than the darkest dark night, hotter than the hottest day sun, colder than the coldest winter day. But it’s only fair. They’re the ones who made sure the true fighters of justice were put behind bars, stripped off their clothes, have nothing to eat, nor drink, not even a place to micturate let alone defecate. These inhuman people who do work for the devil are even more cruel than the devil himself. Reflect frauds, reflect before it’s too late.

Ok, I guess I’m done with. I’m still mad. Mainly at myself, Ya Rabb make me a better person this instant, PLEASE!!!

Wallahualam.

-fatimahzaharahrosli
